However, I feel that the Chinese culture and social experiences are similar to global cultures due to globalization. Thus, my personality has mainly been shaped by the technological advancement within the society. However, I also think that the personality of an individual is shaped by their hereditary factors.

When the genetically obtained mental abilities interact with the social environment, it can shape the personality types of the people. Also, I think that gender and sexual orientation can influence how people perceive themselves. The nature of how people perceive themselves is useful in shaping their personality. For example, I have grown in the Chinese culture and lifestyle that encourages an independence. Thus, I am likely to grow up and look for a job to live my life. In contrast, a child growing up in China is expected to think like members of a family that limit their family needs.

In spite of all, within my Chinese society, there are exists the diverse cultures have some similarities to growing the formation of the personality types. The boys and girls are usually socialized in a different aspect in the societies. The differences in personality would be critical in understanding the interests for the environment to operate in different person. They can obtain the diverse messages among the parents and other persons. For example, I think the boys are usually allowed to take part in risky physical activities, whereas the girls are advised to take part in domestic activities and assist in child rearing. When young children deviate from these universal ways, they are usually marginalized. Finally, I feel people shares different personality traits within the Chinese society and family members. Such aspect is attributable to the socialization processes including parenting and education. Many people adopt the rules and biases depending on their cultures. Thus, I think the different cultures and social norms are useful in shaping the personality types.
